Police have intercepted nearly 330 kilograms of dagga along the N4 freeway in Wonderfontein near Belfast in Mpumalanga.
They say the dagga which was concealed in 28 bags has a street value of R3 million.
Police stopped a suspicious-looking car and after searching it, found the bags of dagga yesterday.
They say two occupants of the car were travelling from eSwatini to Johannesburg.
Both men are believed to be undocumented foreign nationals and will appear in court soon.
