9 killed in separate North West crashes

A head-on collision on the N4 near Dinokana in Lehurutshe, in the North West Province has claimed five lives. The two sedans, carrying three and two occupants respectively, collided head-on Saturday afternoon.

The department of community safety and transport management in the Province says this brings to nine people dying on the Province roads within 24 hours.

Another separate head-on collision occurred on Friday on the N18 outside Mahikeng, claiming four lives.

The North West MEC for Community Safety and Transport Management, Wessels Morweng has sent his condolences to the bereaved families.
