ActionSA’s Nobuhle Mthembu elected new City of Joburg Speaker

ActionSA’s Nobuhle Mthembu has been elected as the new City of Johannesburg Speaker.

The Johannesburg City Council held a special sitting to elect a new Speaker at the council’s chamber, in Braamfontein.

This follows the resignation of Margaret Arnolds after newly elected City Mayor Dada Morero appointed her as Finance MMC.

In a statement released by ActionSA, Mthembu says her focus is on getting Johannesburg back on track as a hub of investment and opportunities.
