There are high traffic volumes on the Polokwane-Moria and Tzaneen-Moria roads in Limpopo.

This as the ZCC pilgrims start to converge on the church’s headquarters in Moria for a conference to consecrate the new year.

According to orthodox Christians, the first day of September is celebrated as the new year.

There’s also a high visibility of traffic officers on the roads.

The ZCC September conference comes as a relief to the church members, as they have not been having public gatherings due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

The church’s spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe earlier said that there would be restrictions on hawkers in the vicinity of the church for safety measures.
