EMS responds to fire in Midrand, no fatalities reported

Emergency Management Services (EMS) fire-fighters are attending to a fire that broke out near Boardwalk street in Midrand.

It’s not known if the fire broke out in a residential area or in an office park.

Joburg EMS spokesperson, Xolile Khumalo says the call was made just after 9pm on Tuesday evening.

Khumalo says no fatalities have been reported, although some people have sustained injuries.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
