Suspended Chief Magistrate Desmond Nair back in court

Suspended Pretoria chief magistrate, Desmond Nair is expected back in the Pretoria Specialised Commercial Crimes court.

Nair faces corruption charges for allegedly receiving security upgrades worth R200 000 to his Gauteng home provided by African Global Operations formerly, Bosasa in September 2016.

He appeared in court earlier this month where the matter was postponed.

The postponement was to allow his attorney to study the reply from the office of the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) to which he made representation to have his charges withdrawn.
