The ANC in the Free State is holding its Lekgotla in Bloemfontein. According to the party’s Provincial Secretary, Polediso Motsoeneng, the two-day meeting is intended to package an action plan for the government’s 7th administration, among others.
Motsoeneng also revealed that they will have extensive service delivery discussions that will be implemented.
“We also have to reflect on what has worked in the past and how then we can improve on that performance, but over and above that, we’ve listened to our people during the election campaign and this is one of the platforms that we’re creating for us to develop. At least make it possible that we live up to what we’ve committed to our people in terms of improvement of the living conditions where they stay. But we’re here to ensure that out of this Lekgotla, there are measurable targets of service delivery issues that we can monitor and evaluate periodically and the decision will be on a quarterly basis.”
