Bodies to be identified following ‘Malome Vector’ car crash

The manager of well-known Sesotho rapper Malome Vector whose real name is Bokang Moleli says the identification of bodies will be done later on Thursday.

Berry Matseletsele confirmed to SABC NEWS that he is travelling to the Sasolburg State Mortuary for the identification process.

The rapper died in a car crash on the N1 near the Koppies off-ramp yesterday together with two music industry companions. Their car was driving from the Gauteng side of the N1 towards Bloemfontein.

It was found that a light motor vehicle collided with a truck resulting in the three deceased being declared dead on the scene.

According to the Free State Health Department, postmortems on all three bodies are currently underway.

The department also says a man who was injured in the crash is in critical condition and has been admitted to Bloemfontein’s Pelonomi Hospital trauma unit.

A woman who was also injured in the accident but is in stable condition requested to be discharged from Boitumelo Hospital in Kroonstad for admission to a private facility.
