Book pays homage to SA’s unsung heroes

A book entitled: Unsung Heroes Volume 2, will be launched in Durban on Sunday.

It chronicles the stories of 47 South Africans, who are deemed heroes for selflessly serving their communities. Fawzia Peer, Lavan Gopaul, Vishnu Naidoo and Doctor Kogie Archary compiled the book.

Gopaul explains how the stories can inspire contemporary South Africans.

“Unsung Heroes Volume Two will be launched at the NMJ hall in Morning Side on Sunday July 14. The event starts at 10 30am. The book consists of the stories of 47 heroes who share their remarkable stories. They have all given back to their community and range in age from their 30s to their 90s.”
