Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo wins 200 metre final

Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo has won gold in the 200 metre final at the Paris Olympics.

Tebogo outran silver medalist Kenneth Bednarek of United States and bronze medalist Noah Lyles also of United States.

Lyles was favourite going into the race.

Tebogo crossed the finish line in 19.46 secs, a personal best and an African record and national record for Botswana, also being the fastest time posted for this event this year.
