Music Legend and producer Sello Chicco Twala says his son Longwe is not involved in the killing of Senzo Meyiwa. He says his son has never carried a firearm and his own gun has never been lost or gone missing.

Chicco dismissed claims that his firearm was at the center of Meyiwa’s murder.

Twala was speaking outside the Randburg Magistrate’s Court, where his two sons are appearing in a separate matter.

Sello and Longwe Twala were arrested after their father opened a case of robbery and theft against them at the Douglasdale Police Station.

Chicco has accused them of stealing his studio equipment at his home in Fourways in Johannesburg.

Speaking to SABC News, Chicco said his sons allegedly broke into his studio and stole music equipment worth thousands of rands.
