Pretoria Moot Station Commander, Colonel Karel Swanepoel is expected to continue his testimony in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial at the Pretoria High Court on Thursday morning.

Swanepoel is testifying in the trial-within-a-trial on the occurrence book at the Silverton police station where accused number one alleged that he was assaulted.

State prosecutor, Advocate George Baloyi is leading his evidence.

Baloyi asked Swanepoel: “You mentioned that the occurrence book is to record the incident. What is the procedure when recording such incidents?”

Swanepoel responded: “My Lord every time a person reports on duty it is captured in the occurrence book as well as the handing over of the CSC Community Centre programmes that are handed over in the occurrence book. If a person is arrested or detained at the police station, it is also captured in the arresting occurrence book.”
