Fans and industry colleagues of Kierna “AKA” Forbes have come from all over the country to honour ‘Supa Mega’ at Sandton Convention Centre.

Below is the memorial service for AKA:

Many are sharing their fond memories of one of SA’s top entertainers.

Ziyanda Khumalo from East London says, “I travelled all the way to make sure I say my final goodbyes … Long live Supa Mega.”

Another fan Ayabulela from Gqeberha says, “I really loved his drama and I loved him so much. I enjoyed him sing ‘The World Is Yours’.”

Junior Mokwena from the Vaal also came to pay tribute to AKA, “I came to pay my respects to Supa, the proudest South African I know…my fave song of his is ‘Tears Run Dry’. I loved how he expresses himself and his love. Rest in peace, live long Supa Mega.”

The memorial was a sold-out affair, limited spots were opened to the public, his fans “Megacy”, to share his memory with the people who have made him one of Africa’s favourite rappers.
