Thirty-one-year-old Fees Must Fall activist Bonginkosi Khanyile is expected to continue with his bail application in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Khanyile is facing five charges, including incitement to commit violence and being part of an illegal gathering during last month’s unrest.

The widespread violence and looting claimed over 350 lives in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng.
At the last appearance, the court was shown videos showing Khanyile addressing people saying they should support former president Jacob Zuma who had been arrested in an undemocratic manner.
It is believed that the footage was posted on social media during the unrest.
