Four accused back in court over Joslin Smith’s disappearance

Four accused in the disappearance of six-year-old Joslin Smith are expected to appear in the Vredenburg Magistrate’s Court in the Western Cape today.

The little girl went missing from her house in the Middelpos informal settlement in Saldhana, nearly five months ago.

She’s not been found, despite an extensive search.

The accused include the child’s mother Kelly Smith and her boyfriend Jacquin Appollis.

They face several charges including human trafficking.

Authorities are in the process of analysing cellphone and forensic data.
