GALLERY | AKA’s memorial at Sandton Convention Centre

It’s a celebration outside and inside the Sandton Convention Center in Johannesburg where the memorial service of hip hop artist AKA is under way. Kiernan Forbes, commonly known as AKA, was shot and killed in Durban last weekend alongside his longtime friend, Tibello “Tibs” Motoane.

Musicians, actors, fans, family and friends have come out in large numbers to pay their last respects.
