Hawks in Limpopo seize rifles, ammunition at bogus training facility

The Hawks in Limpopo say they have seized numerous rifles, pistols and ammunition at an alleged illegal firearm training facility at a farm in Modimolle.

Hawks provincial spokesperson, warrant officer Lethunya Mmuroa says the seizure happened during a raid at the farm following a tip-off on Thursday.

Mmuroa says the purpose of the training centre is not yet known and they cannot rule out the facility being used as a military training camp.

No arrests were made during the raid.
