Judges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) are yet to respond after the Court’s top prosecutor Karim Khan asked the court to rule on his request.

Khan wants arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and others over the atrocities in Gaza and Israel.

The court’s top prosecutor Karim Khan says any unjustified delay in these proceedings detrimentally affects the rights of victims.

The court says there are reasonable grounds to believe that Netanyahu, Gallant, Sinwar and others bear the criminal responsibility for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity.

The Israeli Prime Minister says accusations against him remain a disgrace.

Meanwhile, Hamas says its leaders should not be taken to task. South Africa has also taken Israel to the International Court of Justice accusing it of committing genocide in Gaza.
