Johannesburg Emergency Services (EMS) continues to caution residents on the safe use of heating devices while keeping themselves warm during the cold front that has hit most parts of the country.
EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says no incidents were reported throughout the city.
“No major incidents were reported overnight and this morning throughout the City of Johannesburg due to the cold front. Residents are encouraged to look after heating devices. The City of Johannesburg Emergency Management Services remains on high alert monitoring all seven regions of the city for any emergencies that might occur.”
