The four accused in the case of the disappearance of six-year-old Joslin Smith will be back in the Vredenburg Magistrate’s Court in the Western Cape on September 16. They appeared briefly in court this morning when the case was postponed.

The little girl went missing from her house in the Middelpos informal settlement in Saldanha Bay, nearly five months ago.

Four people including the child’s mother Kelly Smith and her boyfriend Jacquin Appollis face several charges in connection with her disappearance. The charges include trafficking in persons with the purpose of exploitation and kidnapping.

A High Court date will be set when the accused re-appears.
