Multiple murder accused, Enoch Ndou, has caused drama in the Thohoyandou High Court outside Louis Trichardt in Limpopo, forcing Judge Thogomelani Tshidada to postpone the trial.

Ndou made gestures, screamed loudly and ran to the witness stand during his trial. His lawyer, Advocate Kagiso Muthivhithivhi, had to make an application for the postponement of the matter.

Ndou is being tried for the alleged murder of his seven family members at Jimmy Jones village near Malamulele on Christmas Day three years ago.

Advocate Muthivhithivhi has threatened to withdraw from representing the accused.

“You know, your worship, you can go back and forth, I’m not going to proceed, I’m not going to take it further than that, I’m asking that I cannot proceed today. Perhaps if I can be given another day so that I can think about whether I’m going to proceed with this matter or not because from where I stand today I do not want to proceed.”

“You feel unsafe presenting while [the accused] he’s seated behind you?”

“Yes, I’m not safe, I can’t proceed.”
