VIDEO: State Capture Inquiry hears evidence from former Public Enterprises Minister Malusi Gigaba

The State Capture Commission hears oral evidence from former Public Enterprises Minister, Malusi Gigaba.

Earlier,  Transnet CFO Anoj Singh denied allegations that he leaked and e-mailed sensitive documents to consultancy firm Trillian which belonged to Gupta associate Salim Essa.

Singh was questioned by the commission regarding tender irregularities of the 1 064 locomotives. The deal ballooned from R39 billion to R 54 billion. Singh has maintained that the increases were due to currency fluctuations and other unforeseen expenses.
