The bail application of music legend Sello ‘Chicco’ Twala’s son Longwe is expected to resume at the Randburg Magistrates’ Court, north of Johannesburg.

It was postponed last week to allow Longwe’s legal aid lawyer to prepare for the case.

Chicco opened a theft case against both his sons Sello and Longwe at the Douglasdale Police Station earlier this month.

However, Sello was released due to insufficient evidence.

Chicco is accusing his sons of stealing his studio equipment worth more than R 200 000 from his home in Fourways in Johannesburg, while he was out of the country.
