Magashule’s former PA to appear in court on Monday

Ace Magashule’s former personal assistant Moroadi Cholota will appear in court on Monday with regard to the R255 million asbestos tender corruption case.

The Former Free State Premier’s assistant has been extradited from the United States (US) where she has been studying.

US authorities approved the extradition application for Cholota who previously appeared before the State Capture Commission of Inquiry.

She had been detained in the US and arrived at the OR Tambo International Airport.

Hawks spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Philani Nkwalase says the extradition process went well.

“As the DPCI, we are about to receive our suspect. A 37-year-old lady, who was working in the provincial government in Free State, she will be appearing in court on Monday the 12th, facing assortment of charges ranging from fraud, corruption and money laundering,” adds Nkwalase.
