Manhunt for suspects involved in the murder of a 92-year-old murder

Police are searching for suspects involved in the murder of a 92-year-old woman and the setting alight of her house at Sterkwater village outside Mokopane in Limpopo.

It is alleged that the elderly woman had been sleeping when unknown suspects entered her home, brutally killed her, and set her house on fire.

The incident happened on Thursday night.

Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says, “The victim was later discovered by police inside the bathroom tightened with a cloth. Following the brutal attack, the unknown suspects set the house on fire and fled the scene. Anyone with information may contact the crime stop number 0860010111 or the nearest police.”
