Mnangagwa applauds citizens for ensuring SADC summit is not disrupted

Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has commended his country’s citizens for ensuring that the SADC Summit in Harare is not disrupted.

He says there’s been pressure on the people of Zimbabwe to disrupt the summit but they’ve remained resolute.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is among the regional heads of state and government that are attending the summit.

According to Mnangagwa, SADC countries have also acted in solidarity with Zimbabwe which he says has achieved a lot.

“The government and people of Zimbabwe are humbled to join your excellencies and esteemed excellencies in celebrating these milestones we have achieved. I invite you all to please find time to support Zimbabwe’s tourist attractions.”
