The MK Party says it has appointed Mzwanele Manyi as its Chief Whip. The party says Manyi brings a wealth of executive experience to the administrative post.
It says his leadership will assist the party in serving the people with integrity and dedication.
The new MPs include Brian Molefe, Siyabonga Gama, and Lucky Montana all of whom have been implicated in the State Capture Commission Report.
MK Parliamentary leader John Hlophe says, “Well, there’s no such thing as a cloud to begin with, according to our constitution. To be more specific Section 35 thereof, there is something called a presumption of innocence. So, if any individual has been charged, it doesn’t matter what the charges are that individual is presumed innocent until such time that he or she is found guilty. So, we’ve recruited our colleagues here based on their expertise, based on their skills and there is public knowledge that they are very competent, they know what they are doing.”
