North West Education condemns theft of school roof

The North West Department of Education has condemned the theft of the roof at Mmanjaakgora Primary School in Prisca village in Moretele.

According to the Department’s spokesperson, Mphata Molokwane, the incident happened on Saturday.

Molokwane says the department has made arrangements for a library to serve three affected grades, to ensure that learners continue their education without interruption.

”As the North West Department of Education, we can highlight that we are working closely with law enforcement to ensure that those who are responsible for this crime are brought to justice. We also appeal to the community of Prisca to assist in safeguarding our schools and to report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.”
