Orlando Pirates secure second straight win in Betway Premiership

Orlando Pirates have registered their second win in a row in the Betway Premiership to stay with the early pace setters on the log.

Pirates beat Polokwane City 3-nil at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto ealier this afternoon.

All three goals were scored in the second half.

Pirates became the third team to collect six points so far this season.

It was still goalless at the break before Monnapulke Saleng continued with his good vein of form scoring his third goal of the season from a very tight angle in the 54th minute.

Substitute Evidence Makgopa made an impact immediately after coming in, as he scored Pirates second goal from a rebound a few minutes after being introduced.

Makgopa scored his brace to make it 3-nil in injury time after a defensive blunder.
