The Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court has postponed the criminal case against Pastor Paseka Mboro Motsoeneng to the 11th of September.

This follows a recusal request of the presiding magistrate by the state.

Pastor Mboro’s legal team was expected to again apply for bail with new facts.

The controversial self-proclaimed prophet is facing charges of kidnapping, illegal possession of a firearm, discharging a firearm and assault among others.

This after a video emerged showing him wielding a panga and being escorted by an armed entourage while entering Matsediso Primary School last month.

Earlier, Mboro’s advocate, MoAfrika Maila, threatened to take the matter to the high court if the case gets postponed again.
