President Ramaphosa to conduct walkabout at Africa aviation show

President Cyril Ramaphosa will visit the Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) Trade and Exhibition at the Air Force Base Waterkloof in Centurion, Gauteng, on Wednesday.

The President will conduct a walkabout of the AAD trade and exhibition site and interact with exhibitors and delegates. 

The 12^th edition of the show will take place at the air force base from today under the theme Exploring New Paths, Sharing Solutions, Showcasing Innovation and Capability. 

It is the only defence and aviation trade and exhibition event held on the African continent and is the 6^th largest in the world.

The expo brings together a range of key local and international guests looking for opportunities in South Africa’s defence industry.

It also markets South African companies and innovation to the international market as attractive solutions to unique defence and security problems.
