Prominent advocate arrested by Gauteng police

A prominent advocate has been arrested by Gauteng police today.

Police say the 53-year-old face charges of fraud, assault, malicious damage to property and trespassing.

SABC News is not naming the suspect until he appears in court.

Gauteng police spokesperson, Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says, “Police can confirm that a 53-year-old man has been arrested today, 01 August 2023 on charges of fraud, assault, malicious damage to property and trespassing. The suspect is expected to appear before Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on 03 August 2023.”
