The win has shown resurgence of the Brackley-based team after Hamilton won the British GP a few weeks ago.
Championship leader, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen finished fifth, after starting in 11th due to a 10-grid penalty.
This has been the longest non-winning streak for the Dutch driver for a while, four races.
With his home grand prix next up, Verstappen will be hoping to bounce back after his recent years of dominance in the sport.
Mclaren’s Oscar Piastri, who started from pole due to Verstappen’s penalty, rounded of the podium.
