The South African Football Association (SAFA) and Sasol have renewed their women’s football partnership. It’s the longest-serving women’s football partnership in the country. The relationship between the two parties has been in existence for 12 years.

“Sasol is coming on board once again it gives us continuity in terms of women’s football development and progression so that we can continue transforming the lives of women football players,” says SAFA COO Lydia Monyepao.

The partnership extension comes during Banyana Bayana’s Women’s African Cup of Nations qualifiers. Banyana Banyana will face Mozambique in the second leg of their first-round qualifier after a seven-nil away win this week.

The return match will be played at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday.
