Suspects in AKA, Tibz murder case to appear in court

Five men accused of the murder of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and his friend, celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, are due to be back in the Durban Magistrate’s Court today.

Forbes and Motsoane were gunned down outside a restaurant in February last year.

The accused were arrested at the beginning of the year.

Magistrate, Vincent Hlatswayo denied all the accused bail in their last court appearance in May.

The five include the alleged mastermind, Mzwithemba Gwabeni, the man who is accused of supplying the firearms used in committing the crime.
