SA paralympic athlete Louzanne Coetzee qualifies for finals

South African paralympic athlete Louzanne Coetzee has qualified for Monday’s final of the Women’s T11 1500 metres race.

Coetzee ran a season’s best of 4:45.25 seconds to finish second and book her spot in the final.

This comes as Team SA took part in several sporting courts on day four of the Paralympics Games held in Paris.

On the other hand, Puseletso Mabote finished sixth in the final of the men’s T63 long jump with a leap of 6-point-4-4 metres.

In archery, Shaun Anderson, earlier won his elimination match but lost in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, three South Africans had matches scheduled in the wheelchair tnnis competition of the Games.
