Emad Saber, International Director for East, Central and Southern Africa, has called on all those who are supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza to make August 3 a day of rage against the occupation of Palestine.

This comes after the assassination of Hamas senior leader, Ismail Haniyeh, who was the former Prime Minister of Palestine and chief political leader. Haniya’s assassination has led to tension escalating in the Middle East.

“They are not serious about the negotiations. How are you being serious about the negotiations and [you] are killing the person who is talking to you for the ceasefire? They have not been serious about that from the first day. How can they kill more than 40 000 Palestinians in Gaza when they killing more than 17 000 children in Gaza? How are they being serious about the negotiation?” asks Saber.
