Three suspects arrested in Limpopo for stock theft

Three suspects have been arrested for livestock theft on the Rossenekal-Stoffberg road in the Sekhukhune District in Limpopo.

They were found transporting suspected stolen goats.

Police spokesperson Malesela Ledwaba says the goats were being transported to an auction.

“Preliminary investigations revealed the goats were stolen at Rakgoadi policing area. The owner was notified and the goats were identified through a brandmark. The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant-General Thembi Hadebe, has welcomed the arrest. They suspects will soon appear before the local magistrate’s court facing possession of suspected stolen properties, that is the livestock.”
