Two suspects arrested in Kimberley electronic repair shop

Two suspects have been arrested after the raid of a cellphone repair shop in Kimberley.

Police confiscated items which include laptops and cellphones that were allegedly stolen from different government department in Kimberley.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court soon.

Police spokesperson is Cherelle Ehlers elaborates, “A significant amount of cellphones and laptops, believed to be stolen were confiscated.  It is alleged that the laptops were stolen from government departments in Kimberley. The estimated value of the suspected stolen devices is approximately R150 000. Two male suspects, aged 37 and 42 years-old, were arrested. Investigations will continue. Consumers and shop owners are reminded that buying, selling, and storage of stolen goods is a criminal offence.”
