African National Congress (ANC) president Cyril Ramaphosa has taken a swipe at the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party saying it‘s not likely to perform well in this month’s elections.

He made the comment during a campaign trail in Isipingo in KwaZulu-Natal.

Ramaphosa’s comments come amid predictions that support for the ANC will drop again in the province as was the case in the 2019 national elections.

“Comrades, thank you for working hard on our campaign and taking it to this level. Because KZN is fertile and it’s clear that other parties like these new parties like the MK what, what will not get any votes because KZN people show that they love the ANC,” adds Ramaphosa.
