[WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT] Calls for calm following Mpumalanga family murder 

Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison acting MEC, Speedy Mashilo, has called for calm at Thandukanya in Mkhondo following the brutal murder of a woman and her three children.

They were hacked to death, apparently with an axe that was found on the scene.

A 47-year-old woman, her twin boys and her daughter were found by the police inside their home.

Mashilo says the community should work together with the police to bring an end to violent crime.

He says communities should not be living in fear and police will work with great speed to solve the crime.
