Woman found dead with multiple stab wounds in Bramley

South Africa has lost another young female symbol through an alleged domestic violence incident as the country marks Women’s Month in August.

Dorcas Lekganyane popularly known as “Didi” was found dead with multiple stab wounds this week in Bramley, Johannesburg.

Didi was a celebrated academic and an internationally respected scientist.

Gauteng police have confirmed that they are investigating a murder case after responding to a domestic violence incident in Bramley on Thursday.

The 32-year-old woman was found dead with multiple stab wounds. A man was also found inside the house. He was taken to a local hospital and placed under police guard.

The Man will be charged with murder and is expected to appear in court soon.
