The South African National Civic Organisation (SANCO) in the Free State conducted a door-to-door campaign in Botshabelo as a final attempt to garner support for the African National Congress (ANC).

SANCO provincial coordinator Tshoeute Matutle says the ANC is ready to complete its job to better the lives of the people of Botshabelo.

Matutle says dormant firms need to be revived in the area in order to create job opportunities.

“Through our interaction with the Mangaung local municipality or metro as SANCO, they have committed to us that the services will be speedily coming to us. Because the majority of the resources we don’t have, we are going to outsource them to ensure we have a fleet to fix the roads, fix sewers, and collect solid waste, and fix whatever is there and are done speedily as the civic movement in the alliance partners. We will be there in street committees, zones with the locals to ensure that we deliver on the promises we make to our people. We are saying to our people let’s give the ruling party one more chance through our candidate who is a SANCO member in Ward 33 and vote ANC.”
