Ramaphosa says he is confident that his party will retain the Buffalo City Metro in the Eastern Cape after the November local government elections. Ramaphosa was briefing the media following his campaign in Mdantsane.
His address at the local sports field was cut short due to rain.
Ramaphosa says the local leadership has worked hard to improve living conditions of the metro citizens.
“The situation here in Buffalo City is fairly positive one for the ANC. I have no doubt that the Buffalo City Municipality will remain in the hands of the ANC with an even increased majority. So, it’s been pleasing to be here in the Buffalo City.”
